3) Lodge Cast Iron Skillet –
Yes, this is a classic, but I can’t say enough good things about it! Cast iron is one of the healthiest materials to cook in and if you take care of it, it will last for generations. Also, this model comes with a silicone handle grip. Very handy since cast iron gets HOT and stays hot.
4) Swig Savvy Stainless Steel Water Bottle –
I just got one of these and it’s great. I have a glass bottle as well, which I love, but it’s a bit heavy to take with me everywhere, and there’s the risk of breakage. Not so with stainless steel. It keeps things ice cold all day and is easy to clean. Did I mention it’s also BPA free and safe to drink out of? Plus, this model comes with a great little tote bag, so whether you’re going to work with it or taking it on a hike, it’s easy to carry.
5) Larabars –
If you know someone with a sweet tooth, a box or two of these might be a very welcome gift! They’re non-GMO, all natural, vegan, soy and dairy free, gluten free and come in lots of amazing varieties.
6) Nutri Ninja Ninja Blender with Auto-IQ –
This is literally my favorite item to cook with. I use it all the time and I recommend it to everyone. You can make smoothies and shakes, getting all your veggies and proteins in one, or with the processor attachment you have even more flexibility when you want to chop and blend food for recipes. You can literally blend or mix almost anything. This baby is powerful!
If you can’t afford a higher model Vitamix, definitely go for this, you won’t regret it 😀
I’m sure once I post this I’ll come up with a hundred other ideas….of course.. But these few last minute ideas are a great place to start, so hopefully this list will be helpful to someone.
